In project "Healthy Aging in Industrial Environment", a profil of DNA methylation was assessed in city policemen who lived and worked in localities with various type of air pollution (Ostrava, Prague, CB). The DNA methylation was measured by microarray method of gene-specific genome-wide DNA methylation (Illumina). Main characterization of the localities was defined by air pollution represented in the PM 2,5 during 90 days before blood sampling. In the lecture, an actual results of differentially methylated CpG loci and its gene annotation, as well as a functional analysis of biochemical pathways will be presented.
