This year we also participated in the traditional Bike to Work Challenge (Do práce na kole), which aims to playfully encourage city dwellers to use environmentally friendly modes of transport to help the environment and bring more joy and exercise into the typical working day. 

A total of 47 employees, divided into 11 teams, took part in this year's institutional competition under the title "Sport vs Science". 

At the end of the month, we prepared a group breakfast for all participants and announced the overall winners of this year's challenge. 

In total, our employees cycled/ran 8331.86 km. In the individual competition, as in the previous year, Jakub Netolický from the Department of Neurochemistry won (845.9 km), Adolf Melichar from the Department of Auditory Neuroscience was second (529,4 km), and the third-place belonged to Ivana Hojková from the Accounting and economic department of the IEM CAS (466 km). In the team competition, the Extrasynaptic Team (Department of Neurochemistry) won with a total of 1419.4 km.
