The research project HAIE - Healthy Aging in Industrial Environment
How does life in industrialized areas affect people’s health and aging?... Is their quality of life significantly different from the quality of life of other people?... And what can we do for healthy aging in industrial agglomeration?
Teams of scientists within the Healthy Aging in Industrial Environment (HAIE) project are looking for the answers to these and other questions. https://haie.osu.cz/en/main-page/
The project addresses the evaluation of the effects of selected environmental and lifestyle risk factors on the health and aging of the population in the industrial region (Moravian-Silesian Region) and beyond the region (South Bohemian Region and Prague).
The Center for Epidemiological Research of the Faculty of Medicine - University of Ostrava, the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Czech Academy of Sciences, the Veterinary Research Institute in Brno and the Department of Human Movement Studies (CDLP) of the Faculty of Education - University of Ostrava, participate in the project.
