The United Nations has declared February 11 as the International Day of Girls and Women in Science in 2015. This is to commemorate their vital role in scientific environments and to inspire other women to pursue scientific careers.
Women are very important to science and research, not only in expanding the pool of talented researchers but also in bringing new perspectives and creativity.
At IEM CAS we are fully aware of this! Currently, we have 93 female scientists from a total number of 139 researchers (i.e 66.9%.).
Dear Ladies, thank you for a great job and we wish you all the best for today's International Day and much success in your research.
