As every year, tens of thousands of cyclists will take to the streets across the Czech Republic on May 1 to support the annual Do práce na kole - AutoMat (DPNK - Bike to Work) challenge. The event aims to playfully encourage city residents to use environmentally friendly ways of transport, help the environment, and bring more joy and exercise into the regular working day. 

 

Of course, we will join in! It's time to ditch the laboratory coats, jackets and ties and dress in a sports shirt in the DPNK 2022 design. 

A total of 47 employees have registered for this year's challenge, twice as many as last year... that's great. We are so pleased! We would like to thank all employees who have supported this event and the Ecological Mission campaign of the IEM CAS (ww.emise.info). 

Bike to Work , with the subtitle Sport vs Science is an institutional team competition for all those who form a team of at least two, and up to five members and regularly cycle to the IEM CAS with their colleagues during May. In addition to cyclists, the competition is also open to runners, walkers, skaters, skateboarders, longboarders, wheelchair users... in short, everyone. For our employees' most active athletes, we have prepared valuable prizes - e.g. vouchers for Decathlon, "calorie bombs" from Ovocný světozor and others.

 

 

So keep your fingers crossed that no one gets hurt and that our smiles last until May 31, 2022, when we'll take a photo together for you all.:)
