Dear colleagues, 

We would like to invite you to the Dissertation Defence of RNDr. Lenka Maletínská, CSc. (IOCB CAS), which will take place on January 10, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Turquoise Auditorium of the IEM CAS.  

Based on a successful defence, the committee chairman will submit a proposal for the award of the scientific degree "Research Professor" (Res. Prof.) to the Committee for the Research Professor Degree. The award of the degree is decided by the Council for Sciences of the Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS).  

The scientific degree "Research Professor" (Res. Prof.) was established by a resolution of the twenty-first session of the Academy Assembly convened on December 18, 2002. We wish Dr. Lenka Maletínská the best of luck and much success in her defence. An Award of this extraordinary scientific degree will be a well-deserved reward for her long-standing and outstanding scientific career in biochemistry and pathobiochemistry .
