We would like to invite you to the Dissertation Defence of Pavel Vodička, M.D., PhD., which will take place on September 14 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the Turquoise Auditorium of the IEM CAS. The Dissertation Defence is a public event. 

Based on a successful defence, the committee chairman will submit a proposal for the award of the scientific degree "Research Professor" (Res. Prof.) to the Committee for the Research Professor Degree. The award of the degree is decided by the Council for Sciences of the Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS). 

The scientific degree "Research Professor" (Res. Prof.) was established by a resolution of the twenty-first session of the Academy Assembly convened on December 18, 2002. We wish Pavel Vodička the best of luck and much success in his defence. An Award of this extraordinary scientific degree will be a well-deserved reward for his long-standing and outstanding scientific career in cancer research.
