Fifth year of the contest starts

This year the contest is opened in three contest categories: apart from the main category is Photogenic science you can submit your photos also in category Scientific selfie. On the occasion of 100 years since the formation of the Czechoslovak state we have decided to introduce the third category Czecoslovakia by scientists which is opened to the general photography produced by the employees of the Czech Academy of Sciences. You can upload your photos until 23:59 15.6. 2018

The project Photogenic science was initiated by the collective Fórum Věda žije! with aim to organise yearly photographic contest for employees of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The output of the project is a representative calendar with selected photographs and an exhibition Photogenic science, which will be presented not only at the main building of CAS but also at other places in Czech republic and abroad.

The contest helps to present CAS as a whole and besides the popularization with respect to general audience it should also emphasize identitification of the employees with the brand of CAS.
