Prague Membrane Discussions
Another series of meetings of scientists dealing with the structure and function of biomembranes

On November 24, 2016, we organized another series of one-day interdisciplinary meetings of scientists dealing with the structure and function of biomembranes held in the framework of the Prague Membrane Discussions. The meetings were organized by the teams of Mark Cebecauer (JHI), Jan Malinsky (IEM) and Kvido Strisovsky (IOCB) with the aim of supporting an open discussion of experts dealing with common issues from different angles of view, cooperation of various methodologically specialized scientific workplaces etc. 40 scientists gathered to discuss five specific topics, the link of which was the use of fluorescence microscopy in the study of functional plasma membrane expression. The next meeting will take place at the Institute of Physical Chemistry, Jaroslav Heyrovsky, CAS.
