Invitation to Panel Discussion: Photocatalytic Technologies - From Theory to Practical Use

The discussion takes place on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at 9:00 am in the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic

Czech Society for Applied Photocatalysis and Institute of Experimental Medicine AS CR invite you to a panel discussion: Photocatalytic Technologies - From Theory to Practical Use. The discussion takes place on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at 9:00 am in the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.

Nanotechnology is changing our lives and enabling the technical development of civilization. This also applies to the use of photocatalysis technology, which has the potential to be applied in surface protection, defense against microorganisms, improving the indoor environment of buildings, protecting plants from pests and cleaning the environment from dangerous immissions.

Photocatalytic products are increasingly being used in the market. Practical applications open up a whole range of questions not only for their end users but also for the wider professional public, including government and self-government bodies.
The panel discussion aims to address these issues from different angles of view.
Due to the complexity of the issue, we assume that the panel discussion will take place over a longer period of time in the form of several half-day meetings with lectures by leading Czech experts and a space for expert discussion.

Discussion boards:
Photocatalytic products on the Czech and world market (development, current state, perspectives, practical applicability, properties)
Practical use of photocatalytic products, benefits and risks
Technical and hygiene standards, testing, certification
